Project unexpectedly for the authors appeared to be “typical” and became “a hit” and served as a basis for making lots of versions for families of different ways of life and demands. The project was such a success that in the end a whole settlement was built consisting of such houses varying in number of floors and options of the interior. Moreover, the unified planning and construction scheme permitted to impart a one piece visual image to the streets.
Integrality of the total space gives a wide range for decor imagination of the interior. Styles of different countries and periods play with colors and decor: Gothic – the hall with tapestry, Classic – the kitchen; the swimming pool interior is in modern ecological style, the rest is in a modern version of Classic.
Space and planning solutions are determined by requirements of up-to-date comfort. Thus the house turned out not to be bound by any style conventions, but organic and comfortable; and it is so valuable nowadays!
The splendid silhouette of pitched roofs looks organic in the forest surroundings. The seemingly compact interior reveals almost royal luxury of air and light. There is simple logic unmistakably hinting how to combine what looks incompatible. In fact we see ... functionalism in its direct sense.
The facade style of the wooden complex is some what between a Swiss chalet (pitched roofs protruding far beyond the walls) and a North American house (big logs worked up with an axe, open rafters). The House resulting from a professionally mixed “cocktail” out of the best ingredients of the World Country reasonably claims to realize a new approach to creating a countryside space.
